To anyone who get's this message! it's me and I need some serious help to get Aaang ready by Saturday. The good news is I got my patterns cut out but there's been a snag.

My shiteating sewing machine is acting up again. Evil or Very Mad The good news is our neighbor and family friend whose semi-retired from the sewing trade agreed to help make the shirt (since it's a basic pattern) but I still need to work on the pants and aslastic bands.

Since my sewing skills consist of mostly some stich work and pattern cutting, I need someone who doesn't mind at least taking an hour or so out of their day to help me learn how to sew the pants (and maybe help with the alastic bands)

Anyone willing to let me come over and learn (asumming you have a working sewing machine) I will be greatly appreciated. I just can't read sewing instructions for the life of me. ::Is embarassed::

Thank you.

P.S. I have Aaang pictures if anyone has no clue whom I'm talking about.

This is just a posting to let everyone know I don't need help anymore. I got someone to do the pants and I'm working on the armbands and mini poncho as we speak. Tomorrow I plan on getting the boots and face paint and if the weather holds up on Saturday, I'll be the first Aaang cosplayer in the scenic city...or within a 500 mile radious to boot.

spray painttry a base coat first

I've used it on rubber and it worked fine, I would test it on really cheap really thin plastic first and work you way up from there before you spray it on you costume
