I know things have been dead 'round here lately. it's a tough time of the year thanks to the holiday craziness and such. i haven't been around much because of some health problems of my own and my immediate family...but, i'm back, sort of.
anyways, sorry...
and, I've been thinking that it might be nice for our group to sort of meetup once in a while (and not just to wear our cool gear) to touch cosplaying bases...
but, i'm open to any and all suggestions.
do the poll!!
and please, please, please post your ideas!!
even if they're insane.
'cuz insane is cool!
( personally, i am voting for the sewing circle and the chattacon table, because i've been stitching alot by hand since my sewing machine started acting up again...and chattacon's just fun)

muahah! it seems that there is interest in a movie night sort of thing..
that being said, wednesdays at the Hamilton Place 10-17 theatres offers admittance to any movie for just $1, all day.
if anyone is interested, myself and a friend attend this almost every week.
this week (wed., nov. 30th): 40-year-old virgin at 7:20.
if anyone is interested in joining us, IM me on yahoo, or send me a PM on here! _________________ *may the schwartz be with you.*

I need to double check with B to make sure its all good, but I should be there even though I wont be in costume. Its about two shades too cold for any costume I have. _________________

sorry i wasn't there. my grandfather passed away, so i've been in georgia until a couple of hours ago sans technology...
were there many people? fun to be had?
is anyone interested in seeing narnia this weekend, perhaps on sunday or saturday afternoon if the weather's forgiving?
i think it's going to be playing at the bijou, although i'm not certain.

How about this:
You are ALL invited to come to the next Chattooine meeting (December 12th @ 6:30pm). We have these at the RAVE THEATER's party room in East Ridge every 2nd Monday of the month. It shouldn't take too long as the only things coming up for us are our Christmas party and Chattacon (which we'll have a table set up). Also, "KC" Charland from Chattacon will be there.
Anyway, everyone who attends the meeting will get to see Narnia (or whatever movie you wish) for FREE. All you have to do is go into the Rave where they tear the tickets. A few of us will be there to authorize Chattooine members (and guests) to get in. Just tell them (in case I'm not out there) that you were invited by either Vesper or Scarlet (as a-tastic is known on our boards).
As far as costuming goes, we do dress up now and then, but it's always up to the individual. We started off as a Star Wars group, but we've recently decided to expand into other areas of sci-fi/fantasy. Anyway, if anyone wants to dress up, that's up to you. When we do dress up, it's always a big hit. Anyway, hope to see ya there!
