I love this band Sky Salt. Well Voltaire made an announcement concerning getting a keyboard player. I thought since he was at Dcon, that all yall would like to know. Check out both bands!

And now, without any further ado, announcement from Mr. Voltaire himself:

At long last, I have found a synth player for my new wave side project, The Oddz!Holy smokes, I really had no idea how damn hard it would be to find a good keyboardist in this town! But it was definitely worth the wait!

I am very honored to announce that we've been joined on keys by the lovely Xenia!
She's a Russian born New Yorker, a designer, singer and front person of the hot New York band Sky Salt. I hope she won't kill me for saying this, but I like to think of her as Russia's answer to Bjork! ; ) She's got more style than any one person should be allowed to have, she's absolutely adorable inside and out and a very talented player to boot.

I stumbled upon her here on Myspace and instantly fell in love with her band Sky Salt. I highly recommend you check them out!

We got to talking and before I knew it, I was MCing their party Maskara at the Knitting Factory. I was really impressed by their show and by her playing and here we are!

Stay tuned for a whole new batch of demos including Xenia on synths!
