Wigmaking for anime and manga finds! (cheap, cheap!)if anyone is interested in making crazy coloured wigs and/or needs extra wefts to umph up one you already have, run to your local Dollar Trees and get these:http://i23.photobucket.com/albums...etmorbidia/bluefakehairdetail.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums.../scarletmorbidia/bluefakehair.jpg i'll be using the blue in my helga/eis hexe / trinity blood wig. 
blue is ridiculously hard to find and/or match. i was excited...way too excited, i daresay. this stuff is basically silky straight kanekalon, and can be dreaded, or gently curled into ringlets, or spiked..or whatever. there is a similar thing (different brand, same headband idea and $1 price) at Dollar Generals around town. Dollar Tree has better colours: lt. & dark blue, lt. & dk. pink, neon purple, bright red, orange, lime green, lavender. two of these, with the wefts + hair from the braid around the headband = about one pack of silky KK from Doctored Locks (saves you about $1.95 per pack, plus shipping costs). don't be afraid of the kid's/toy sections of family dollar/dollar general/dollar tree/everything's a dollar, yo. they have cool stuff!! |
