SKATE NIGHT!!Since the most interest was in a skate night. Hersha and I have worked together to set up a date and time and place for such an occurance!When: Feb 28th, the Last Tuesday of the month, at 6 PM-9PM est (They open at 4:30 but I wont be able to get there that early and ouch my feet if I skate for more than three hours!) Where: Hamilton Skating Rink on that road that goes beside the Walmart on Gunbarrel 7414 goodwin Road. What: Skate night. Dress in Costume or out (But be careful what costume you choose if you so choose one  ))
How much: Well we do try to keep cost down cuz well, we arent as organized as Chattoine and have no treasury LOL! $3.50 a person This is well in advance for everyone. I hope we get a big turn out! |

 From the sound of it - the Star Wars guys are coming in various etc...  So you will not be alone!
I won't come dressed out due to my armor being tough to skate in!

skating was very, very fun.
nightmarez = Master of the Skating Rink kiante = my new skating hero 'twas a lovely blend o' this group and chattooine. good times by all, even when falling down. we should definitely do it again one of these days! glad to see everyone, and the pictures should be really, really interesting!!

Thanks - but there were a few "iffy" moments where I thought I might blow it!! 
It was fun and Kiante can probably skate rings around me!

It was great fun! Im so sore right now though, I can hardly lift myself out of my chair at work. Even falling, I did have a great time, and it put a hole in you guys' minds that I wasnt a perfect skater. and wow did I ever fall! I swear I ALMOST fell more times than I can count. And there was a lot of me being scared out of my mind in doing something, especially skating backwards.
The fact Vesper got out on the floor ROcked! He was ALMOST as good as his kids ~wink wink~
Those skates sucked though. I wouldnt have been near so scared if I hadnt felt like I was falling half the time without any reason why. Still, I had a FANTASTIC time. And I SOOOO wanna go again! |

Yeah, I don't think I'm cut out for being on wheels. Can't waterski either. I see a trend here.... PLEASE keep me away from a skateboard.
Beside all that, we had a blast and would love to start doing stuff like this more often. Skating, bowling, paintball, ultimate frisbee.... Kiante... if you fell, I didn't see it, so you're still a perfect skater to me.
