i have never been to MTAC, i usually just go to AWA, but i look forward to MTAC, should be alot of fun. how does it compare to AWA??

i may. maybe. it's iffy. my 5 yr college reunion is in st. lou' that weekend and it's either that or mtac.
anyone planning on staying in the con hotel?

i saw they have a Gothic Lolita brunch on sunday. that sounds pretty flippin' sweet, yo.

Hmmm This would be fun to go to. But It is 30 bucks and it is money to stay in the hotel. Though i would love the goth/lolita brunch! (I have nothing to wear though) BLAH! If only I knew about my timing!

So its 25.00 for a two day pass. That seems okay, except I dont have a way of fixing my sleeves before then. I dont have a sewing machine that is currently working. Plus I dont have a wig for My Yuzuki Costume. ~sighs~ seems as if nothing is going my way.

this board has been more dead than abe lincoln lately...but, hey, it's MTAC time, everyone!
next weekend. it shall rule most righteously.

anyways, i thought i'd give everyone a photoshoot headsup:

the american cosplay paradise shoot (www.acparadise.com) is going to be on friday night at 9 pm.

the cosplay.com shoot will be on saturday morning at 10 am.

both of these shoots'll be meeting up in front of the lobby/atrium's fountain.

i'm currently in a frentic rush to finish mine since i tooted around and took too long on the jewelry and waist cincher.

and i have a paradise kiss miwako sorta thing planned for the nighttime.
if i run out of time and don't finish this stuff, i'll be yuuko-ing it up, and hoping the dress dosen't fall off of me.

what costumes are everyone planning?

would anyone like to meet up for grub on friday or saturday, or possibly sunday?

hey I'll be there as well. I'll be Inuyasha on friday and Edwrd Elric on Staurday, and maybe Kenshin (artbook style) on sat, and whoever i feel like being on sunday! Maybe I'll see ya there!

mtac was...pretty fun. we were old, tired, and hot, but we're glad we went.

the iron lolita competition was a blast. our team TOTALLY should have won. we made a freaking tophat out of toilet paper rolls, man!

and, i was sort of glad i took my yuuko for sunday since i farted around and didn't get the other xxxholic getup done. it won the hall costume contest from two of the judges, including lisa ray, but i could only accept one. it makes all the hours of stitching flippin' ribbon to those damn ruffles and sewing on buttons worthwhile.
cosplay=world's weirdest obsession and greatest hobby.

and, by the way, lisa ray's music rocks. also, she's just adoreable.

anyways, myself, amber (kiante) and zodiacman (jared) went.

we totally saw you, hersha! we kept waving at you when you came into the cosplay contest and you didn't even wave back!
but, then, we both had blue hair....and a burger king.

who else went? did everyone have fun? photos?
amber, and her mad photo skills, she took lots...and i can't wait to see them!!

hey guys! Yes I saw you guys waving to me! and i didn't recognize who u were...sorry...Anyway yeah, i had a BLAST! Was in Ed for most of the con. Spoke with Vic for about 30 minutes after the costume contest. Got him to sign my jacket, book, and a few other things. I had a great time. Stayed in a room with Corey (Ridley), and about 8 other girls...I was the only guy in the room. Had a blast though. Her group won best craftmanship at the contest for the Kingdom Hearts Skit.
