E-Bayanyone here sold anything on e-bay before?? if so what kind of fees do they charge???

Its about two dollars to start when you sell on Ebay. depending on what features you want, it may be between two and three dollars... I think the max is like 5 or so. Its pretty easy actually.

Nope, They count the up front fee as the payment for the sale.

unless they've changed it from the last time i sold stuff on there about five months ago, they also whack off a tiny percentage of final sales amount for their profit, too..
5.37% or something of the sort. it's not alot, but something to consider when putting your item up for listing.
however, a lil' ebay tip...
if you want to obtain profit, without having them get too much of your money via the final cost percentage, increase the handling fee in the shipping section. the buyer never sees the handling fee, but it gets added onto the postage calculator.

And if you KNOW it's going to sell (and get lots of bids), start the price low... even at one penny. It'll help keep the listing cost down, because the higher your asking price, the more eBay will charge (along with the % off the selling price).
