so...who all is going?
i know we fun chattooine folks are heading down (and they're gonna have a table too!).
i am going to make some "cards" or something to hand out to people to promote this board, too. if anyone is heading down and interested in handing them out, let me or kiante know.

also, if you all are really bored at 3pm on Saturday the 21st, i just found out that apparently i'm going to be on the "Costuming on a Budget" panel.
does anyone know if i have copanelists? because they didn't tell me jack squat. hah hah! i'm such a gem at public speaking..it should be quite funny to watch me make a fool of myself.
heh.

hope to see everyone there: i would also like to organize a group meetup there for a photoshoot or something. maybe at about 9ish on Saturday night? or, whenever. i don't know the schedule.

is anyone going to stay at the Choo-Choo?

The CHATTOOINE and 501st will have two tables set up at CHATTACON - I'll ask Vesper (or maybe he will read this?!) but we can advertise you guys at our booth too... Wink

I've just been told that our group is being offered an entire room to do all our stuff in. I've sent her a few questions (mainly about room size and can we lock it at night) but it looks good.

So... would you guys like to share with us? As soon as I get the room size details, I'll know what we're dealing with. Maybe someone can bring a TV or something to play some anime? Or whatever you guys want to come up with. At worse, it'll be a good meeting-up spot.

OK, it's been confirmed. We will have the Crystal Room at the Choo-Choo.

"For an intimate event at the Chattanooga Choo Choo, the Crystal Room offers an elegant setting for you and up to 100 of your guests. Located off of the Dome Lobby in the historic Terminal Station, the Crystal Room is accented with four crystal chandeliers."

It's 1287 square feet, so it's plenty big for whatever. If you want to run anime, you'll probably have to bring everything to play them. We've been told that we can lock this room up when we're not there, so whatever you bring will be safe.

OK, the Con starts this Friday. Several of us won't be there until later on that day, so if any of you go early, just set up in the Crystal Room wherever you want to. We'll work it all out once everyone starts showing up. We should have plenty of tables and (at least 50) chairs available.

If you guys want to run any panels or have anything scheduled, I'm going to bring a large Dry Erase board to be right outside the room so people will know when things are going on. I know the 501st are running a panel called "How to make a Mandalorian costume with $35 or less". Not sure on the time yet, though.

well i wanna go, i have no pass, where can i get one??? also Kiante u need any help getting things setup Friday?? and who all is planning to go??? thought about doing cosplay but all i have are Ed and Kenshin, Ed might fit in but kenshin won't

If you just plan to hang out in the Crystal Room, you might want to check it out first. You may be able to just stay in there w/o getting a pass because our room is away from the main part of the Con. It's worth a shot. If you plan to go to the consuite or dealer's room or anywhere else, you'll probably have to get a pass.

it was nice to meet up with the folks here that i know and to meet a few new ones...and hopefully more will join the ranks! (crossing fingers)

Hey a-tastic... Did you get any pictures Friday night? I remember seeing you by the registration area. I was wearing the Vader costume (although I'm obviouslly not the guy in Kiante's pics). I don't know if you took any pictures or not, but I would love to have at least one of me wearing that darn suit! Mad
