Bowling??I know we have been doing the movie get together on wednesday, thought i might try to change a little and suggest getting together for some bowling?? Just a thought, I am not a good bowler at all, just hadn't been in awhile thought it might be fun and little bit of a change..what do you guys think??

Sounds good but its a bit more expensive and would require planning. No way am I showing up to bowling alone.

well i understand where your coming from it is more expensive. How about we just stick to the movies for now, until more people start showing up, then maybe we can give bowling a shot.

 We've held one w/ the Star Wars group and it went pretty good...
But to keep cost at a minimum - hold it on a "Cost Effective" night - call the local Bowling Alley to let you know when those nights are up!
Another idea we did - Which was a HOOT!
We went SKATING! What fun - it had been awhile - and if you catch it - Skating has a cheap day/night too!  [/i]

i used to go to the hixson holiday bowl on wednesdays after 7 pm and everything is $1.99.
i *think* the hixson cheap nights are monday and wednesday, and the brainerd one is tuesday and thursday.
although after the last experience i had at the brainerd alley, i won't be returning.
skating rules! they totally tore that rink down in hixson. i was so mad. i used to tear up the roller skates there when i was a kid...

 Yeah - we use to go there and they told us they were remodeling! Uhm NOT! It's storage buildings now...
My wife is so MAD!! 
But Hamilton has one - it's ok too... and there are cheap Skate Times!

My parents lived right down from skating Jakes which is now buisiness type offices and such. Suck. I would love to skate though and bowl. How about we start fishing about what times are best for ppl.

for me it would be whenever, evenings would probably be best, but i could go during the day. Sundays it would have to be afternoon or evening. Ed is ready to go skating!!! lol

 That's Where I work! 
Let me see if I can call for the "cost effective" skating times!
